Nice, clean hotel in a central location. Breakfast was ok but you have to like sweet things to really enjoy it. The room we had was on the roof which meant we had a separate entrance. The one thing I really didn't like about this hotel was the staff. Most of the people walking around look grumpy and unapproachable.

Clean hotel. Excellent location as it's very near Termini. It's a 35 minute trip into Rome using the Leonardo Express which costs 11 Euros p.p. The hotel has small rooms which are really neat. The beds are comfortable and there's a/c. Breakfast is basic with fresh rolls, croissants and coffee. Lots of hotels seem to be owned by Chinese people. I really think it is time that the prices in Rome become a bit more competitive. The hotels in Rome and just so much more expensive than hotels in, say, Barcelona.

Hotel Impero is ideally located in the centre, close to the underground and Termini station. In the vicinity you'll find a supermarket and lots of restaurants. Sighs such as Forum Ronama and the Colosseum are easy to reach on foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is recommended to ask for a room on the fifth floor, because they border the beautiful roof terrace. We had a large bathroom with bath and shower. The room was equipped with properly working airco and an small flat screen television. The hotel has internet facilities (even wireless), but you have to pay for it, which is rather unnecessary, I think. You can store your luggage before check in and after check out in the laundry room under the large stairs. The hotel staff keeps an eye on this room. Only negative point is breakfast: very meagre and just not nice.
