A fine hotel, located in the business centre of Madrid. So everytime we wanted to visit the tourist centre we had to travel a little. There was a good subway connection. Friendly people, they only spoke Spanish though. Only the people at the reception spoke a little bit of English. The breakfast was good and had a lot of variation. It was located at a quiet spot in a sidestreet. That sidestreet was next to the mainstreet, with the subway station. The beds were small and very hard. The room was kind of clean and there were free bottles of water in every room. A good shower. Some rooms had a small balcony. You couldn't sit on your balcony though. You could sit on the big inner courtyard. In the surroundings weren't any restaurants. You could get something to drink at a shopping centre near by. If you wanted a really cosy atmosphere, then you needed to visit the real centre. The price-quality ratio was good. I really recommend this hotel.
