Nice hotel with an excellent location. 5 - 10 minute walk into the centre of town / Ramblas. Otherwise it's one stop on the underground. The service here is really good. Unfortunately there can be a queue for breakfast in the mornings. The only way to avoid this was by getting up really early or by having breakfast really late. The view from my window was lovely, a dark alley. There wasn't a balcony either. The buffet breakfast wasn't extensive but the food provided was of a high standard. Everything was replenished on time. Overall we were really satisfied. Not quite good value for money (the queue for breakfast and the view). Barcelona is a fantastic city. This is our second visit but I'm quite sure we'll come back here again. Can recommend the three day travel card as it's a great way to see all the sights. This is a great alternative for the crowded bus Turistique. Tip: restaurant salt y piment was really nice. If you exit the hotel Majecstic it's the first street to the right.
